This was my submission for the 2023 NPR College Podcast Challenge. It took me around a month to put together and was completed on January 3, 2024. I submitted this description along with my episode:
“Raven Sanchez, with the help of a clothing curator and a runway producer, breaks down the evolution of Denver, Colorado's rapidly growing fashion scene from the corseted dresses of the 1800s to the runway shows of today.”
Up and Coming Colorado
This was my final project from a college course (Spring 2022) on creating podcasts. We had to produce the first episode of a podcast series we came up with. I created a script, learned to use the proper equipment, and developed a treatment for this episode. The idea behind Up and Coming Colorado was to highlight local businesses and talents that may not be well known across the state. In this episode, I talked to the owner of Sunshine Thrift Co., Missa Webb.
